WatchKey for Tesla（以下稱「本應用程式」）是一款 Garmin Connect IQ 應用程式，讓您的手錶透過藍牙直接作為 Tesla 車輛的鑰匙使用。本頁說明本應用程式會處理哪些資料、為什麼需要，以及資料的流向。
我們蒐集的資料
本應用程式僅蒐集授權驗證所必需的三項資料，全部由您本人在手機 Garmin Connect App 的設定頁面中主動輸入：
- 電子郵件地址——用於識別您的授權紀錄。
- 車輛識別碼（VIN）——用於藍牙配對時識別您的車輛，並將授權綁定至該車輛。
- 授權密碼（4 位數）——防止您的授權在未經同意的情況下被他人使用。首次綁定時由系統自動設定為 VIN 末 4 碼，您可自行變更。
只留在您手錶上、永不外傳的資料
- 加密金鑰——與車輛通訊所需的私鑰在您的手錶上產生並儲存，不會傳輸到任何伺服器，開發者也無從取得。
- 車輛即時狀態——車門開關、上鎖狀態、行李箱、充電孔、車輛是否休眠等資訊，透過藍牙從車輛讀取後直接顯示在手錶畫面上，不會被儲存，也不會傳送到任何伺服器。
- 偏好設定——休眠時間、按鍵功能等設定僅儲存於您的手錶與 Garmin 帳號的應用程式設定中。
本應用程式不會蒐集您的姓名、位置、行車紀錄、健康或運動資料、通訊錄或裝置識別碼，不使用任何分析追蹤工具，不投放廣告，也不會建立使用者行為側寫。
資料在什麼時候被傳送
本應用程式僅在以下三種情況會將您的 Email、VIN 與授權密碼傳送至授權伺服器：
- 您在手錶上主動點選「驗證/啟用」或「查詢帳戶狀態」時。
- 您在手錶上主動點選「解除綁定與清除資料」時。
- 應用程式啟動時的背景複查——用於確認授權是否仍然有效。若當下沒有網路連線，本應用程式會維持原有授權狀態，不會影響您使用車輛。
這些通訊透過您已配對手機的網路連線進行。本應用程式本身不需要網路即可控制車輛。
資料儲存位置與第三方服務
授權紀錄（Email、VIN、授權密碼、購買紀錄）儲存於僅開發者本人可存取的私人 Google 試算表。查詢您的授權狀態時，伺服器回傳的 VIN 一律經過遮罩處理（僅顯示末 3 碼）。
資料傳輸過程會經過以下服務商：
- Cloudflare Workers 與 Vercel——作為請求轉發的中繼站，提高連線穩定度。
- Google（Apps Script、Google Sheets、Gmail）——處理授權驗證邏輯、儲存授權紀錄與寄送通知信件。
除上述為完成授權驗證所必要的處理外，我們不會出售、出租或與任何第三方分享您的資料。
系統會寄送的信件
本服務僅在下列情況寄信給您，不會寄送行銷或推廣信件：
- 購買授權後的開通說明信。
- 首次綁定車輛時的專屬密碼通知信。
- 您主動申請重設密碼時的驗證碼（OTP）信件。
資料保留與刪除
授權紀錄會保留至您要求刪除為止，因為授權本身是永久有效的一次性購買。您可以隨時：
- 使用手錶設定選單中的「解除綁定與清除資料」，將該車輛的 VIN 從授權紀錄中移除。
- 使用「僅清除本機資料」清除手錶上的金鑰與設定（不影響伺服器紀錄）。
- 直接以電子郵件聯繫我們，要求刪除您的 Email 及所有相關紀錄。
兒童隱私
本應用程式並非針對兒童設計，我們不會刻意蒐集兒童的個人資料。

WatchKey for Tesla — Privacy Policy

WatchKey for Tesla ("the App") is a Garmin Connect IQ application that lets your watch act as a Bluetooth key for your Tesla vehicle. This page explains what data the App handles, why it is needed, and where it goes.
What we collect
The App collects only the three pieces of information required to verify your licence, all of which you enter yourself in the Garmin Connect app's settings for this device:
- Email address — used to identify your licence record.
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) — used to identify your vehicle for Bluetooth pairing and to bind the licence to that vehicle.
- Licence password (4 digits) — prevents your licence being used by others without your knowledge. It is set automatically to the last 4 characters of your VIN on first binding, and you can change it.
Data that stays on your watch and is never transmitted
- Cryptographic keys — the private key used to communicate with your vehicle is generated and stored on your watch. It is never sent to any server, and the developer has no way to obtain it.
- Live vehicle state — door, lock, trunk, charge port and sleep status are read from the vehicle over Bluetooth and shown on the watch screen. This information is never stored and never sent to any server.
- Preferences — sleep timeout, button behaviour and similar settings are stored only on your watch and in your Garmin account's app settings.
The App does not collect your name, location, driving history, health or fitness data, contacts or device identifiers. It uses no analytics or tracking tools, serves no advertising, and does not build behavioural profiles.
When data is transmitted
The App sends your email, VIN and licence password to the licensing server only in these three situations:
- When you tap Activate or Check Status on the watch.
- When you tap Unbind & Clear Data on the watch.
- A background check when the App starts, to confirm the licence is still valid. If there is no internet connection at that moment, the App keeps your existing licence state and your ability to use the vehicle is unaffected.
This communication travels over your paired phone's internet connection. The App itself does not need internet access to control your vehicle.
Where data is stored, and third parties
Licence records (email, VIN, licence password, purchase history) are stored in a private Google Sheets spreadsheet accessible only to the developer. When you check your licence status, any VIN returned by the server is masked and shows only the last 3 characters.
Data passes through the following service providers:
- Cloudflare Workers and Vercel — request relays used to improve connection reliability.
- Google (Apps Script, Google Sheets, Gmail) — handles licence verification, stores licence records and sends notification emails.
Beyond this processing, which is necessary to verify your licence, we do not sell, rent or share your data with any third party.
Emails the system sends
We email you only in the following cases, and never send marketing or promotional messages:
- An activation guide after you purchase a licence.
- A password notification when you bind your first vehicle.
- A one-time verification code (OTP) when you request a password reset.
Retention and deletion
Licence records are kept until you ask us to delete them, because the licence itself is a permanent one-time purchase. At any time you can:
- Use Unbind & Clear Data in the watch settings menu to remove that vehicle's VIN from the licence record.
- Use Clear Local Data to erase keys and settings from the watch only (server records unaffected).
- Email us directly to request deletion of your email address and all associated records.
Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
